ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT
Salary: $15.00 - 18.00
The purpose of the Accounting Assistant is to ensure the accurate recording of all payables; to ensure timely payment of all payables; to assist in maintaining cash receipts from partner agencies. Contributes additional work as deemed necessary and appropriate by ACFB management.
Purposes, Responsibilities and Duties:
- To ensure the accurate recording of all payables
- To ensure timely payment of all payables
- To assist in maintaining cash receipts from partner agencies
- To provide service through the overall Accounting Group
Qualifications:

Education
- Associates degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent required.
- Required qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year experience in managing accounts payable
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel or comparable spreadsheet software
- Displays intermediate knowledge of general ledger charts of account structures

Preferred qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Working knowledge of non-profit accounting
