Thank you for your interest in hosting a food drive!
Thanks to an incredible response from our community, ACFB's food drive transportation team is completely booked for the first two weeks of December, as well as December 18,19 and 22! This means that we cannot schedule any deliveries or pick-ups those days. If you had hoped to conduct a December drive, you may still do so. (See suggestions below.)
As you plan your drive, please take a moment to consider some simple ways you can help the Food Bank work smarter, save gas and money, and therefore increase the value of your food drive:
- Would you be willing to pick up your food drive materials and barrels at the Food Bank rather than having them delivered?
- Can you create and use your own materials and receptacles?
- Are you able to deliver your food when your food drive is over?
If you can incorporate even one of these into your drive, you will help us provide more food so that more families and individuals will receive the help they need.
However, we certainly understand that some food drives require delivery and pick-up, and we are happy to accommodate your needs to conduct a successful food drive!

Confirming your Food Drive
- Once you have completed the online Food Drive Information Form, simply click the "send" button and our food drive team will automatically receive an email with your information.
- You will then receive a phone call or email confirmation from someone on our food drive team within 2 business days. (Forms received on Fridays will be confirmed by the following Tuesday.)
- Remember: Completing the Food Drive Information Form is not your confirmation!

Is your group is interested in conducting a Virtual Food Drive?
To explore how a virtual food drive might work for your group, contact Sarah Robertson at sarah.robertson@acfb.org or 678-553-5966. In a virtual drive, participants simply make a financial contribution on a secure Virtual Food Drive page (in lieu of the traditional non-perishable food items). We can even brand the page with your group's logo! For every dollar donated, the Food Bank is able to provide $8.28 worth of groceries back to the community. If you decide to conduct a virtual drive, Sarah will walk you through the easy steps to coordinate your drive.
