How much does it cost?

There is absolutely no cost to teachers or schools. All supplies are brand new and donated by manufacturers, retail stores and school supply drives.

What can I get?

Our 5,000 square foot "retail" facility is stocked with school and art supplies for grade levels pre-K through 12.

Where do I shop?

The Kids In Need facility is located in the Atlanta Community Food Bank at 732 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd, NW. Click here for directions, including a link to a printable map.

Shopping takes place on our comfortable, temperature and lighting controlled shopping floor. The entire space is designed to be very-user friendly and inviting. Once shopping is done and checkout complete, teachers can load their cars in an enclosed loading dock, so rain and cold weather will be more tolerable for our shoppers.

How does it work?

Kids In Need contacts the principals of eligible schools. The principal then informs teachers, who each email and set up a time to shop for supplies.

Teachers may shop once each semester.

Shopping is by appointment only. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday, 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Shopping policies
